...Coming for counselling can feel like a big step, especially if it is for the first time, but it is a positive one...

Thank you for finding my website – I am a fully Accredited Counsellor (BACP) working from private rooms at The Eaves in Farnham and Godalming, Surrey.

In addition, to my private practice, I also work for the NHS (Surrey Borders) IAPT service and having worked as a Counsellor for The Youth Counselling Service (NHS Surrey Borders) and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, I have broad experience counselling clients aged from 12-75+ with a wide variety of issues, including:

Anger management
Bereavement and Loss
Death anxiety
Eating disorders
Low self-esteem
Relationship issues / strengthening communication
Major life changes
Loss of direction in life
Suicidal thoughts

The relationship between a counsellor and client is a unique and special one, created on a foundation of trust and confidentiality. Feeling comfortable with your counsellor is essential to the successful outcome of the counselling process, as it is in within this safe space that you should feel able to openly and honestly voice what is worrying you. I therefore offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to talk about your counselling needs and for us to see if we feel we can work together.
